Hiring decisions affect people's lives. The rules that keep them fair and explainable are built into the platform itself, not added as a policy afterwards. Here is what is in place today and what we are building.

Built into Meritside Parse.
These rules are part of how Meritside Parse works now. Every product above it inherits them.
Every fact carries its evidence
Meritside Parse stores each fact with the exact words it came from in the source document, so any fact can be checked.
No inference
We record what a resume states. A fact that is not written down is not invented, and gaps stay gaps.
Protected attributes never extracted
Age, date of birth, photos, gender, marital status, religion and nationality are detected and left out. They are never stored as fields, indexed or used for matching.
Exact fields read by code
Contacts, links and dates are read by deterministic rules, not by a language model, so they are not paraphrased or made up.
Criminal history never extracted
Records of criminal history are not extracted from resumes.

Every tool call an agent makes goes through one gateway with policies, approvals and an audit log, so you can see who did what, when and why.

Each hiring team chooses how long interview data is kept, and data a team brings stays with that team.
Regional data
Separate regions for India and for international customers, so data can stay in the region it belongs to.

Security and compliance
What we can tell you today.
Meritside does not yet hold a security certification, and we will not suggest otherwise. Security is part of the design: sign-in for every app, roles and permissions, retention settings and an audit log are planned into the platform from the start.
